Georgie Louis, Kenny Yap, Jake Sorenson are all featured in this video promoting the release of the complete UrbanArtt x Hella Grip collab scooter.  They shot this over a couple weeks in California.  Dope shredding by everyone.  Kenny Yap sends it with that last trick, making it look like not a big deal at all.

Addict | Woodward Camp

Jake Hershey is the scooter director at Woodward Camp in Pennsylvania, and put this video together when Addict riders Matt McKeen and Logan Fuller came down to ride.  I don't know why but McKeen's uprail to transfer into the quarter was so cool.  So was Logan's up flat double peg to downside out.  The place looks toooo fun.

X-Games to Feature Call Of Duty Competition

Confirming what everyone already knew about the X-Games, it was announced that today via ESPN's X-Games Website that a Call of Duty tournament has been added to the events of this year's games in Austin.  It is now official that X-Games has lost everything it based on, what it was supposed to be about.  Videogames are cool and all, but is there really anything "eXtreme" about sitting on a couch staring at a screen?  And what's next?  Best trick shots competitions?

This is a slap in the face to every real action sport already in the X-Games, and the ones that have been taken out or never let in (which is us.)  Read on for the full press release-

To capitalize on a rapidly growing competitive league right in the heart of its demographic, X Games, together with Major League Gaming, announced Monday that there will be a "Call of Duty" tournament as part of X Games Austin in June.

The "MLG Call of Duty: Ghosts" tournament will feature the top five "Call of Duty" teams based on MLG Pro Points plus the top three teams from the "Call of Duty" championship held in Winter Park, Fla., last month. The eight teams will compete in a double-elimination group format, with four teams advancing to a single-elimination bracket. X Games medals will be awarded to the winning teams.

"It's going to be [MLG] bringing our high-level production into a really full weekend," MLG CEO Sundance DiGiovanni said. "We're looking to build something here that hopefully becomes a tradition at both the summer and the winter X Games over time."

MLG is one of several professional video game leagues worldwide and the largest in North America, hosting tournaments in such games as "League of Legends," "Call of Duty" and "Starcraft" and sports games like "NBA 2K14." Teams of gamers make up MLG rosters and will compete in online preliminary tournaments broadcast on MLG.tv. Then major tournaments are held in venues like the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California, where thousands have watched tournaments in-person.

"We are for the first time in a position where we have the league structure, the broadcast piece, the direct access to media and brands who are interested in advertising and marketing to this audience, and it's built in such a way where there's this tremendous scale in front of us," DiGiovanni said.

No stranger to ESPN -- he was the video gaming expert on "Cold Pizza" -- DiGiovanni said the partnership with X Games was an extension of a longtime relationship he has had with the network.

The partnership with X Games was about a year in the making, according to Tim Reed, senior director of content strategy for the X Games. X Games Austin expands this year into a three-day festival with top-tier musical acts and events surrounding the competition.

"As X Games looks to grow and launch into the festival event we're producing, this is great added content to the overall plan," Reed said. "I'm definitely excited to see how it translates [to X Games]."

Joe "Merk" Deluca, a member of Team EnVyUs, will be at X Games Austin because his team finished second in last month's COD championship. He said the partnership between MLG and X Games makes a lot of sense. Deluca played in front of as many as 20,000 people over the course of a weekend at the MLG Championships in Anaheim last year, but he says the ability to compete for an X Games medal is what sets this MLG competition apart from the rest.

"I want to win an X Games medal," Deluca said. "That would be a dream in itself."

Bringing gaming to the X Games was a good match because people interested in professional gaming are likely to be fans of the X Games and other action sports, Reed said. Couple that with the surging popularity of the new genre of e-sports and X Games has what it hopes will be a popular attraction inside the festival grounds at the Circuit of the Americas.

"It made sense from X Games' perspective," Reed said. "The audiences are similar: youth, fun to play with, and they like music, sports and gaming. So it all kind of lines up with [the X Games] audience."

A three-day ticket to X Games Austin will cost $89 and allow holders access to the MLG tent and other attractions at the festival. There also will be an upgraded ticket option for reserved seating inside the MLG tent, a gift bag and other perks. Ticket information can be found here.

The "Call of Duty" franchise is one of the best-selling series in gaming history, but first-person shooters like COD feature realistic violence. "Call of Duty" games can't be bought by anyone under 17, and ESRB rules will be followed at X Games. No one under 17 can enter the tent at X Games without a parent or guardian.
"The subject matter is mature and it's not something that is going to be right for everybody, but there's a huge section of the audience that plays these games," DiGiovanni said. "You'll see when these games are released -- one of the main places they are advertised is on the ESPN networks."

New York-based MLG claims better than a 1,500 percent growth in online video consumption over the past four years and 600 percent growth in total audience over the past three. Much of the interest in e-sports comes from South Korea, Japan and China, but video game tournaments and leagues are rapidly growing in the American market.

There is also money to be made by the competitors. Some of the top professional video gamers can earn over six figures, and many have become celebrities within the gaming community. Having a league that can provide a living wage for many of its professionals was one of the early goals of MLG. Now that it has achieved sustainability, the league is looking to grow in areas where its audience already is, like the X Games.

If the Austin event is successful, MLG and X Games may look to expand their relationship, possibly making on-site gaming a regular attraction at X Games.

"Ideally, we get the [X Games] brand to travel in the gaming space and drive some engagement with an X Games audience," Reed said. "If the tent is full and people are enjoying it, then it's a success."

Elyts Barcelona 2014

Wow.  You all know Barcelona for what it is- a street mecca, the best place in the world to do any action sport- scooter, bike, skate, anything.  Take some of the world's most talented riders there, and it's not a question of if they'll get any sick clips, it's a question of how many spots they can crush before they have to leave.  The full lineup includes Luke Painter (Don't miss his switch stuff!), Elliott Arnold, Georg Gartlehner, Cory Vanlew, BenJ, Lambert Judith, Enzo Commeau, Johan Walzel and Remi Bouchard, as well as a few clips from filmer/skater Rudy Garcia.  Rudy and Roots Boy both killed it filming and editing this too.

Jon Reyes Phoenix Scooter Check

A little/brief scooter check from Jon Reyes (He gets waaay more in depth at the end) followed up by some clips of him riding Woodward East. Anything from Jon is always a treat, one of the nicest dudes I know, on and off a scooter, and possibly the most talented when it comes to the flat/tech game. Good stuff.

Kiara Meade Lucky Scooters 2014

Kiara has been around for a while now, and has established herself not only as one of the top female riders, but an overall talented rider in general. Back in the day people were shocked at how she could boost the TIC boxes with ease, I know I was. I was loving the handplant barspin in this edit, and the heel to bar to whip over the box. Good job Kiara.

Afternoon Stackin With Ryan Mitchell

Here's a little day edit from Ryan Mitchell for QCS.  Solid tricks, back lip across and down on the hubba to whip was dope.  That park also looks super fun.

Vincent Kudrna Spring Break 2014

Where to start.. Vincent to me is one of those riders, that sort of gets overshadowed by the other park/combo riders. So Vincent decided to take all of his ridiculous park tricks, and throw em down in the streets. This edit was really fun to watch, Vincent kept it clean, while throwing ridiculous combos...Quad whip bump to rail stuck out, and damn.. that ender. Good job Vincent.

Phoenix Pro Scooters: Pol AceƱa

For being a pro rider for Phoenix, Pol is pretty underrated.  He kills it on the mini, as shown in this video.  Wallplant to manual 360 in was so dope.  Last few tricks as well were some mind-bogglers.  I'm definitely wanting to get some runs in after watching this!

Brian Chavez

Sometimes you come across a rider when they're still really young, and you just know that they have "it".  Brian is one of those riders.  I think I met him first in the summer of 2011 at the old Lake Geneva skatepark (the old black ramps park from Transit 1).  He was just a real small kid, but I could tell he had the ability to go places. This video shows where he's at today, with the new super good LG park.  One thing about this guy is he's always riding super bad parts and torn up shoes.  The boy needs a hookup.

Tyler Bonner Rev2Deck Promo

Just another one of those videos that you wish kept going, but unfortunately ends at the 3:00 mark. Tyler had a bit of a slow start after his knee injury, but it is safe to say he is back and he's hitting it harder than ever. He killed it in all of the ELYTS El Paso edits, and now he slays even more rails and ledges in his Reventon V2 Promo. Check it.

Blunt/Envy South Africa Tour Ep.1 - 4

Lately I was sitting around thinking about how many riders have been taken to places that they probably would have never gone before without scootering. These edits below document that pretty well I think. Blunt/Envy recently flew out their riders to South Africa in the hopes of filming a full length edit, and I'm guessing it was a success. The below edits are really cool to watch, they're not jam packed with riding, but you get to know the Team a bit more. And it really does show how far this sport can take you. Can't wait for the full length to drop. For now peep these.

ELYTS EL PASO LAST DAY

The ender day for the Elyts boys in El Paso.  Lots of crazy stuff in here.  All Jesse's tooth combos off that box were so sick.  Tyler's gap to lip on that super tall rail (and gnarly rack on the handrail).  I think it's safe to say Jessee and Tyler killed this one.

Megaramp Session with Luke Burland and Ryan Williams

There is a reason that Ryan Williams, and now I believe Luke Burland as well, are a part of the Nitro Circus show, because they kill the mega ramp. Very few riders, despite talking a lot of shit, can actually really go out and hit the mega ramp, and throw down. R Willy has proven time and time again that no one comes close to his skill on the Mega, and I am stoked to see what Luke brings to the Nitro Circus shows which I believe start up soon.

Scooter Zone TIC Ride Day

I know there are plenty of riders that will be showing up for this tomorrow, but for those who don't know check out the flyer below. I think it is pretty awesome that Scooter Zone actually has one of their stores located inside TIC Skatepark. But yeah, if you're a park rat, get out there and have a good time with a ton of homies from SZ. And check out the sale they have going on in store as well!

Lucky Scooters | Jared Jacobs Welcome to Title

So Yung Jared here was on Lucky's Am team, and now he has been bumped up to Title (perhaps to fill the spot left by Kenny Griffin?).  I'm not sure what that distinction is, but either way he is a shredder.  He's got a rad style that will really be good to watch in a few years.  Damion Black on the film/edit.

Percept Eyewear || 2BCN N BACK

Percept released this video today summarizing the trip to Barcelona for the Haske jam as well as Andorra for some snowboarding.  This video encapsulates what the experience was like for Percept owner Ryan Upchurch during his time overseas.  Percept's slogan is "Dream Your Reality" and they definitely give a good example of what that looks like with this video.

MGP Beachside BBQ Battle (Flat SCOOT)

So recently the guys from MGP were down in So Cal, and they decided to get a game of SCOOT going. Basically, it was the pro riders from MGP taking on some unsponsored riders, and other top guys from the So Cal area. Was pretty cool to see the guys from Madd Gear get down without the help of ramps and parks. Check it out. Jeremy Beau is a beast.

Below are the videos starting with the first, and ending with the Final match

Ryan Day

This is Ryan Day, AKA Kushfart.  He's a part of the SDL Boyz crew, shredding San Diego on the regular.  Definitely digging this video, super chill and enjoyable.

Spring 2014

The FinScooter boys are good.  It's finally Spring for them and they've been taking full advantage of it.  There are some seriously sick moves in here so give it a watch.  It's pretty crazy to come back after a winter and keep progressing like you didn't just lose 4 or more months of riding time.

ELYTS EL PASO DAY 3

On this third day of the trip, Zig hits the Tombstone gap, they ride one of the best street quarters around, and end the day with the ultimate street flyout session.  Everyone gets clips in this one.  Next video up includes a super good handrail spot, you know some heavy stuff went down there.

Guillaume TRUCHI - Axone Promo 2014 -

Damn, this was pretty crazy.  Wasn't expecting this guy's rail game.  He comes through with some other solid clips but his rail clips are ridiculous.  He's yet another French up and comer in the game, and rides for Axone.

Inside the City: Columbus

Columbus is the capital of the great state of Ohio.  It has had a small scene for a number of years, centering around Westerville skatepark.  Today there is a small but solid crew of riders hitting the streets around the area.  I recently spent a week there myself for a filming trip, and we decided to film an Inside the City to show everyone what a day downtown would be like.  While the downtown area itself isn't very large or rich with spots, the surrounding neighborhoods are packed with more spots than you can hit in a week.  It's always a good time in Columbus so if you ever get the chance to visit, I suggest you do so.

Jon Reyes T Sweep Jam

J-Rizzy's signature backsweep T-Bars came out recently, and to celebrate, he threw a jam at his local Maloof park.  Lots of kids were shredding all day to win some prizes.  Looks like it was a good time.

Jon Devrind - "No Label"

JonDev has gotten really good lately.  He rides for Crisp and shreds it.  He's got a good tech game but can hit some bigger stuff as well.

Brandon James | BCN

You already know Brandon is a boss.  Put him in the street heaven that is Barcelona, and you get some seriously ridiculous clips.  The many flat bars and ledges in BCN really suite Brandon's style of riding.  I will never know how he does barspins with those bars and those shirts, it's truly mindblowing.

Brent Ikedah | Toqued

Little Brent is out there killing it with the Toqued crew, and here are some recent clips from him.  He's going to be so good in a few years.  I think we can all see a certain someone's style in him, it's just a question if he has the same motivation and dedication to riding.

Save OSU Skatepark!

At the Ohio State University, there is a small skatepark with mostly skater-made ramps that a lot of scooter riders have had the privilege to ride, myself included.  You might recognize it from a variety of Dylan Kasson's Almanacs, or even his old Super 60 (since removed from the internet).  The University wants to build some lame soccer fields in it's place, so sign this petition if you want to support the local Ohio scooter riders, skaters, and bikers.

George von Klan

This was tight.  Young buck out of California doing it for Vivere clothing.  I've never seen anything from him before so this was really good to see.  Banger is dope.  He also has a sweet name.

Haske Street Jam 2014 (Official Video by Roots Boy Production)

Another BCN jam is in the books, and here is the video by Roots Boy, superb as always.  Tons of heavy riding went down but in the end Elliot Arnold took away the $1000 grand prize.  Props to Georgie for that overcrook, that was so insane.

Aaron Ngo Interview + Scooter Hut USA Video

Aaron Ngo may be a name you're familiar with, or maybe not.  The first I can remember seeing him is online through Facebook, commenting being a little troll like many scooter riders.  But then I saw a clip of him trying to wallride the Hollywood High 16 (on someone else's scooter) and I was like "Who is this kid?"  I got some more background after talking to Anton Abramson, who filmed his Concrete part.  Finally I decided he would be a good person to interview, so now that his video for Scooter Hut USA is finished, I hit him up.

Photos by Matan "GUAT" Geller.

Jordan Jasa:  Aaron, what have you been up to lately?

Aaron Ngo:  Basically I've been filming a lot of last minute clips for my edit with Anton. I've also picked up skating again so I've been doing that when I'm not filming.

Again?  You used to skate?

Yeah, I actually started skating basically on my 12th birthday when my sister's boyfriend at the time gave me his old skateboard. I never really abandoned it but when i picked up scootering around November 2010, I started scootering a lot more.

Back before you picked up scootering, what did you think of scooters?  Can you remember like what your first exposure to "real" riding was?

I think it was around the summer of 2009, I went to my local skatepark in Menlo Park, CA and I remember seeing Rayan Simian, Dominic Gullo, Shuo Liu, and Danila Popov just doing tricks that I've never seen before in my life. I just remember Rayan pulling out briflips and triple tailwhips which absolutely mesmerized me. haha

Downside whip.
A lot of scooter riders get flak for trying to "copy" skateboarders.  Do you think thats whats happening? Are people ride scooters because they can't skate?

I don't think people choose scooters just because they can't skate. I mean we all know that we started doing scooter or skateboarding or anything else because we were interested in it and it was fun. "Copy" wouldn't be the right word to use at all but skateboarding does influence some scooter riders such as me and I think that people are just looking at it as a negative thing.

Word, I think it's just from people's differences in taste that causes that thinking.  Many of those same guys are drawing inspiration from BMX, with the box jump and quarterpipe tricks.

Yeah exactly. Growing up skating, I always skated street doing gaps, stairs, and ledges. So when I picked up scootering, I wanted to ride the same way I skated which is why I always stuck to street riding.

You're not exactly a stranger to gaps.  I think the first clip I saw of you (that made me remember you) was the Hollywood 16 wallride attempt...what's the story with that?

haha that's actually a funny story. Basically me and the BFCM crew (Cameron Poe, Issac Padilla, Aaron Watson, Tyler Rehard, Nathan Franco, Ryan Hoyt, Alex Lopez and Nic Politi) took a trip down to LA with Zack Martin, Ryan Day, Brendan Kim, Sam Dybeck and Gerardo Gonzalez. Near the end of the day we decided to go to Hollywood because I wanted to see how big it was and if it was possible to throw a wallride down it. So we all went and I kept saying I wanted to do it but wouldn't try it. Then Aaron Watson comes up to me and says, "What if I try to 360 this?" I immediately said that I would go for the wallride if he goes for the 360. Then I just remember Aaron hucking the 360 down first try like it was nothing. Then he looks at me and says "Yo we had a deal." So basically I was like fuck it I'm gonna do it. Oh on top of that, I actually left my scooter at my parents house back up in Norcal so I had to borrow one of Zack Martin's old scooters that had  like 24 high bars and a prototype AO deck. I think I basically ran up to it bitching out for like 15-20 minutes until I finally went for it. I don't really remember what happened during the wallride but I basically bitched out and jumped off my scooter and landed on my feet at the bottom of the stairs which ended up giving me a fat heel bruise that took like 2 months to fully recover. I tried to go for it again but the pain in my foot pretty much discouraged me from trying again.

Nuts.  Whats the biggest thing you ever wallrode before that?

Probably the 8 stair in my concrete part haha. Basically tried to go big and do something twice the size haha.

The other thing I remember about you is the whole "mom" thing on facebook.  What even started that?

Haha it was actually my good friend and filmer, Ashvin Ashoke who started that. I'm not completely sure if I know correctly where it came from basically he started saying it to me and a bunch of friends from school and I started saying it to other scooter riders and I guess that's how the whole thing came up haha

The other thing on Facebook was about being "homeless not phoneless."  In what is the most stereotypically Asian move ever, your parents kicked you out for not focusing on school and wanting to scooter.  When did that all happen?

My parents always hated how I didn't know how to control my time between studying and scootering. Throughout high school, they always gave me the talk about how if I didn't go to school or get a job, then they would kick me out. So pretty much the summer after I graduated at high school, they pretty much gave me the boot because they had enough of me fooling around and partying with friends and such. I ended up moving in with my brother in LA which gave me the opportunity to explore new spots and whatnot. Then some stuff happened around January between me and my family so I ended up actually being homeless for the majority of January. I spent a week at Danila's house, a day at a 24/7 donut shop, 2 nights at the Stanford library, a few days of couch surfing, and ended up staying at my friend's garage for about 2-3 weeks.

Tailwhip one of the heftiest block sets around.

That's gnarly.  I don't know of any other scooter riders who have been homeless.  How was it for you?  You weren't exactly roughing it in a box but still, not having a solid place to sleep is sketchy.

Yeah it really sucked the nights I had to sleep in the donut shot or the library. I remember putting my legs through my backpack straps so no one could steal my backpack haha. But the nights I actually had a place to lay down, I was extremely thankful for that.

So then, did it work?  Did you straighten up?

well basically because I was homeless, I had to take this quarter off so I haven't really proved to them that I can balance school and work yet. I did get a job though so I've been working and saving up money while paying tuition. I actually start school tomorrow so yeah haha

Congrats on that dude.  I've had a "real" job outside of everything I do with scootering for a while now and it can be tough to balance it with school and riding.  I think once a lot of riders get past high school, it's kind of a turning point for their riding- either they go to school and get a job and their riding kinda falls off, or they go full bore into making riding their life.

Yeah I totally feel that. Im thankful my job only requires 2 hours of my day on the weekdays. One hour before school and another hour after school. It's basically the perfect job if you also want a bunch of time to study and go ride. Oh yeah and I guess if people don't know, I work as a crossing guard at an elementary school down the street from my house haha. I make a good 18.50 an hour doing that job so it's good money even though I don't get alot of hours.

The Jerry Hsu of scooters.

Not too bad at all.  Do you know what you wanna do when you're done with school?

Not to sure about the career path but all I know is that I wanna be able to scooter and skate until my body can't take it anymore.

Spoken like a true shredder.  So your new video is for Scooter Hut.  How'd you get on that team?

So I think it was around Thanksgiving time when Anton randomly told me one day that he might get on Scooter Hut USA. Then suddenly that night, he messaged me saying Steven Tongson was asking about me and whether or not it would be a good idea to put me on. Then the next thing I know, Steven messages me and asks if I wanted to be a part of Scooter Hut USA.

Welcome to the "steven t put me on a team" club.  So how long did you work on the video?

I think i filmed my first clip in mid-November with Cameron Poe in LA. I basically didn't film anything throughout January while I was homeless so I guess like 4 months total. It was hard for me to get a consistent filmer to film my tricks so yeah.

The crew.

Are there going to be more videos from the Hut squad anytime soon?  I heard Steven was coming out with some clips.

oh yeah. We are all filming videos for the hut right now. So expect parts from Danila Popov and Anton Abramson soon.

Awesome.  I think that'll about wrap it up.  Any last words?

Shoutout to Steven T and Scooter Hut USA for helping me out with scooter parts and HUGE thanks to everyone who contributed even to just one clip in my video. Couldn't have done it without any of them. Sorry that I can't name em all because it would be a super long list hahaha.

Welcome to the Homie: Josh Young

Everyone knows Josh is the dude, so it was probably a no-brainer for them to add Josh officially to the squad.  He always rides with the Hella dudes on trips to SF so it was bound to happen.  These are leftover clips from his part in The Tilt Video, check em out.  Feeble manual heel was so perfect.

Speak Apparel at Bamboozle Skateshop V.2

The Speak/Boozle guys all throw down in a limited space at Bamboozle's shop in this video put together by Bobby Pantano.  Looks like a great place to sesh with a few friends and just hangout.  There's some tech wizardry in here too, so don't sleep on this.

Inside Presents The Scooter Farm + "Claremont Takeover"

The Scooter Farm team recently went to their local, Claremont, and shut it down for this video.  Elliot Arnold, Vincent Kudrna, and more threw down.  Wondering about what the Scooter Farm is?  Check out the interview below.

The Scooter Farm is a new shop down in the SD area.  My first exposure to them was hearing that we'd be visiting them while on this past Tilt tour in California.  Hearing the name "Scooter Farm" and being from Iowa, where farms are everywhere, I was psyched on it.  We all couldn't help from making numerous Farm-related puns that night (my favorite- TomK posting an Instagram saying "See you cluckers tomorrow.")  They showed up at SD8 and took some pictures with us with a giant chicken mask which I thought was hilarious.  Later they came to the premier of the Tilt Video, which demonstrates how they want to show their support.  I'm glad to announce them joining us on Inside.  Read on to find out the full scoop on The Scooter Farm.

Jordan Jasa:  The Scooter Farm...the obvious question is...what inspired the name?

Beau Torres: Nick, Doug and I were just sitting around throwing out ideas, and Doug just threw it out there, everybody kind of stopped talking, each one of us had our own moment of clarity on the subject.  And then we all started firing out the endless ways we can spin The Scooter Farm: new animals, landscapes, icons, etc.  We must say that we are pretty proud of our name and concept.  It hits home too, as Doug and Nick both grew up on farms.

Who all is involved in running the shop?

Elliott Arnold and Justin Cordova. They're our two other store employees that have been essential in helping us get everything super tight.  Nick and Doug pretty much are in the shop running it every single day.  I’m in the shop too, mostly on the weekends, I am more of a back of the house guy.

Jesse Hernandez

What are some brands you guys are stocking, or are planning to in the future?

TILT, AO, Fasen, Lucky, District, Phoenix, Elyts, ODI, Sacrifice, Apex, Envy, 5Starr, Protec, Triple 8, Proto, 841, River, HellaGrip, TSI, Ethic, Addict, Sacrifice and more to come.

You guys are the first shop in the Claremont area right?

Yes indeed, and we plan on keeping it that way.

What took so long for a shop to go up there?

I have no idea why no one ever opened up in Clairemont, but we figure that Clairemont was just waiting for The Scooter Farm.  It was something that was a no brainer for us, especially with the YMCA Clairemont Park, which acts simultaneously as one of the biggest skateparks in Southern California as well as being one of the biggest supporters of Scooter riders around. This is where we are from, so it really is the perfect location for us.

Vincent Kudrna
Do you guys sponsor a team?

Yes we definitely feel pretty good about the team we have assembled so far.  I have known Vincent for a while from working with Fasen, so we already had a pretty good relationship. So when Nick, Doug and myself were in the initial stages of The Scooter Farm, Vincent Kudrna was the first person we talked about getting on our team.  We know our team is just as important to The Scooter Farm as we are to them.  We know that the riders make the sport. So putting together a solid team was a number one priority us. Vincent introduced us to Elliott Arnold and the rest is history. With these two guys heading up our team, we feel good about where we are heading.  Especially with the recent addition of Bobby Rivas to the mix.

Pro Team: Vincent Kudrna, Elliott Arnold, Bobby Rivas
Amateur Team: Derek Marr, Jared Jacobs, Jesse Hernandez, Mateo Larson, Dylan Evers, Will Cashion, Kohl Rich, Tanner Wilson
Flow Team: Tate Vandeveer

You have some apparel, including socks.  Any plans for other Scooter Farm merch?

We definitely plan on broadening our merchandise line.  Right now we have Tshirts, Front Zip Hoodies and the ridiculously awesome socks you mentioned.  All available at  www.thescooterfarm.com

Inside: What is your shop philosophy?

To do it right and we mean really right.  We believe in this industry and are here to back it 100%. From rider and community support, to new and existing brand support, to making sure we represent The Scooter Industry as it should be and to grow with it. Not just with words but through actions.  Get ready for big things from The Scooter Farm.

What are your goals for The Scooter Farm?

Obviously, to be the #1 Scooter Shop in San Diego and then to be globally recognized as an industury leader. But one thing at a time.
We are secretly working in collaboration on some new things with one of our industry's big hitters. We should be able to talk about it soon enough, but we want to make sure everything is set prior to talking about it.  It’s gonna be good.

What makes The Scooter Farm different than other shops?

Our Service.  We’ve been around the block a few times and made some mistakes along the way, but have learned from them. Now we are applying that knowledge to something we all love. We grew up as riders, and our passion has never faded. We know that it is crucial to have our riders, the ones with their fingers on the pulse of the industry, involved with our shop.  We also try and support other shops as much as we can because we are all part of the same industry.

Will you ever be expanding your space?

We started with a small shop on purpose. Our plan was to start small and by keeping overhead down, so we could then focus on keeping stock of our top of the line products while delivering excellent customer service and building a solid customer base.  Once that is established, we can look to expanding, bringing in more products, and carrying new apparel and such.  But for now we are stoked with our location, and just want to keep as much inventory as possible.

Kohl Rich
Any other plans for the future?

Continue to grow The Farm, perhaps open more locations. We're also very passionate about "Street" and "Park" riding so we'd love to promote a lot more contest and events for both.

Lucky Scooters | Capron Funk 2014 Web Edit

Capron took a nasty spill this past weekend at the ISA qualifier at Woodward but thankfully he'll be healed up soon.  He decided to release this footage because of it.  There are some really gnarly tricks in here, like that frontflip whip on the Chino gap.  Still on top of the hang five game too with the hang five hop up hang five.  I'm glad to hear he's okay.

Jake Clark | AOSV3 Sig Deck Promo

Jake is the undisputed combo king of the Endub.  This promo for his deck has all the insane combos you expect from Jake as well as a few street clips in signature Jake style (nose manny whip rewind??).  And that ain't no joke.

Crisp Woodward East Promo 2014

Crisp sure has turned it around haven't they? At one time they were overlooked by most riders, but it's hard to ignore a company that has a Team that is this talented. This video starts off with Jake Hershey informing everyone about Woodward East now allowing scooter riders full time, which we can all thank Kimberly Funk for. It's amazing that Woodward acknowledges scooters to this extent now.

After that, it gets straight into the riding, and there's a lot of it. Devin Pelphrey, Jon Devrind, Lewis Williams, and Josh Toy. I sat there watching Jon Dev kill it, and was like, "Ooh so this is what happens when you take Jon Dev and stick him at Woodward" Dude killed it so hard. And I think I can honestly sit and watch Lewis all day. Devin went hard as always, and I think it will take me some time getting used to Josh on Crisp, but he was hanging with the dudes no problem. Good promo for sure.

Elliott Arnold - Haske Barcelona Street Jam 2014

Elliot puts down his sig trick on a hefty rail at the Haske Jam.  It's crazy how good he is at those.  Keep checking back here for full edits of the jam!

The Scooter Farm presents "Tanner Wilson"

Tanner is yet another upcoming street rider out of the streets and schoolyards of sunny California.  It's easy to see the influence of guys like Elliot Arnold and Zach Martin on Tanner.  It'll be interesting to see what he can do in the future.
